(WWJJD) 'What Would Jesse James Do' T-shirt poll

By Tim Freeland - Posted on 10 April 2008

I promise, this is not meant to be sac-religious at all.  I came up with the cleaver idea last DJJD and thought I would mass produce a tee-shirt for the 2008 event.  The problem is that I don't know which version to print.  Please comment below and let me know which you like best or provide your own idea.  The font, cowboy graphic and copy is not final.  Please respect my creative ownership.  Thanks to Adam Gurno for a few of the tag lines.

I'd get rid of the punctuation and just have "WWJJD"...

Here's a few more tag lines for ya...

"More research into time locks"...

"Work on his people skills"...

"Come in through the back door"... (that's a nice dirty one for you)

"Bring a bigger gun"...

"Try conflict resolution"...

"Support downtown Northfield"...

"Shoot you in the head" seems a little blunt for selling in the museum store.
As for leaving the Youngers at home, Jesse would have been better off leaving home brother Frank who, we believe, was the one who egregiously shot Joseph Lee Heywood to death. That brought loads of bad publicity to guys who deserved bad publicity anyway.
I like taking up fishing or trying conflict resolution.

Take up fishing next time!

the fishing one is perfect!!

Wanna sell some shirts? Do exactly as I say. Print on quality BLACK tee, ON THE BACK ONLY, "RIDE HARD....OR DIE! above the picture of Jesse with the stars and bars in the back ground. Below the picture " Jesse James and Younger Defeat, Northfield, Minn. 1876. I have rode for 35 years (Harley) riders will buy these enmass, put me down for 2. remember, nothing on the front. Thanks I enjoyed the visit 6-08 but NO good tees in town to buy, just dead yuppie stuff, be bold and the will come! Phil Gram, Interlochen, Michigan.
