Welcome to my site.
So, what's Tim up to? The purpose of this web site is to reflect myself and give people a one-stop view of what's going on with me and my family. I had photo, video, audio and blogs all over the place. My goal is to centralize that content here and share with the world. Please have a look, comment and make yourself at home.

Farwell Metrodome | Congrats 2009 Central Division Champs
After attending the last regular season game at the Metrodome the Twins beat the Detroit Tigers in a one game playoff, 163rd game of the season. This following 12 inning game was considered by many to be one of the most entertaining games in Twins history, considering the Twins were 7 games back just weeks prior and was the second time in 4 seasons that the Twins beat the failing Tigers on the last day of the season.
In a stark turn of momentum the Twins were swept in 3 games during the following ALDS by the “Evil Empire” (Yankee’s). I feel lucky to have had my team with the Central Division title as they left the Metrodome.
Here are photo galleries from the last games that I attended. Third to last. Last game.
Following the last out during the final game at the Metrodome ever, they removed the home plate and moved it to the new Target Field.
Summer Vacation to the Kalahari Resort in the Wisconsin Dells Photo and Video Galleries
A great time was had by all! Aug 21-23 2009. We stayed in the resort the whole time. There was so much to do that we didn't need to leave. The facility is immense.

Tim Freeland family grows to five
Yes, we did it! We got a dog. I fought it for years after the hard times with my last dog experience, but just couldn't resist. I'm a dog guy at heart.
Lori and I threw out the idea of getting a smaller dog and I have always like the Bichon breed. So, Lori punches the name into Google and picks a link with puppies and sends to me. She had no idea she had chosen a breeder that happens to live in Northfield. I went out on my own at first. After bringing Lori back, we both picked out the same dog immediately but didn't indicate this to each other at first. There was a larger sweet female and was very mellow and not hyper like some of the others in the litter. This is the third time I've picked a dog on a quite puppy temperament and it seems to always work out. So, we made the 14 year, $7,240 to $12,700 plunge.
Bischon-Frise are gentle mannered, sensitive, playful, affectionate and have a cheerful attitude. Their temperament makes them a perfect pet for children. Their life span is approximately 12 to 15 years.
Based of a Seinfeld episode where George talks about naming a child the number "Seven", I wanted to name our female puppy "Five" representing my fifth dog and the fifth family member in our home, but that didn't fly, so we quickly named her Mia Five Freeland.

KYMN-Twins Caravan bring players to my very first day
It was a great way to start my career at KYMN Radio. I reported for duty at 8am and the Minnesota Twins showed up at 9. There was plenty of excitement and I didn't know what to expect. I met Dan Gladden, Nick Blackburn and Scott Baker. Everyone was great as we shuffled them around from one thing to the next. They even signed stuff for us and took photos graciously. Later on Rick Anderson (pitching coach) showed up late. He was seeing his pitchers for the first time since season end. in early October. It was cool to see them greet each other. I love how they all have nick-names that end in "ey". Rick called Scott, "Scotty" and Nick Blackburn, "Blackie". Dan "Dazzle" Gladden was awesome. I can't imagine their lives, being mauled all the time like they are.
I finally got my photo taken with Wayne Eddy and the other guy jumped in.

My stomping grounds is no more, photos from the Southgate Cinema tear-out
I was able to stop by the Cinema last week and snap off some quick photos of their tear-out process. Jerry Anderson was there with Vicki as they watched a hand full of projectionist remove the three cameras. Vicki was the "face and voice" of my movie watching childhood. She was besides herself. I kept wanting to hug her. I informed her that I was upset at her for a time when she wouldn't let me in to see Eddie Murphy's "Raw". It was some comic-relief. Vicki spoke about getting a "day job" for the first time in twenty-something years. She just couldn't imagine having an evening free.
I think you'll love this series of photos as you can see a rare "behind the scenes" view of the theaters and of the upstairs projector room. Not to mention the theaters with the lights on. Did you ever know that was the color scheme?
I've also included a sot I grabbed from the papers website that shows the very first film that I saw there. Yes, I was standing in line on the first showing of Indiana Jones -The Temple of Doom.
