Amazing…Now and Then..Photo Overlay Concept
Inspired by a Mashable blog this week, which introduced dearphotograph.com, I went out to take my own personal photo-versions. The website is only a few weeks old, and the concept a flash idea by the creator, Taylor Jones. So simple yet so brilliant. I was blown away at the results.
Following are old photos from my earlier life, held up on top of the current version and shot with a camera to capture a blend of then and now!

I’m testing out some new equipment utilizing a time-lapse feature. I shot a photo every 20 seconds and then put them together using 15 images for every second. I was filling in for Jeff Johnson during the morning show last week. A few things to note. Watch as the guests pop in and out of the studio and keep an eye on the clock. Watch the minute hand cruise!
I share my June 1st birthday with a lifelong friend, Chris Blomberg
My next door neighbor growing up in Northfield was Chris Blomberg. He and I share June 1st as our birthday. This week he turns 36 and I turn 38.
We always had a ton of fun with this similarity, including some grand parties when we lived together as room mates in Minneapolis (94-98). We have always made efforts to get together or do something special together on this special day that we share. Chris is a one-of-a-kind friend whom loves everything and dis-likes little. I admire him for that. He is a great joy to have in my life.
Happy birthday Chris!

I never saw Harmon play in person, but as a life long die-hard Twins fan, you certainly know all about him. In particular, from a young age, I knew that he was something way more than an incredible baseball legend. He was almost more known for being a humble and kind human being to others. This is rare, especially now-a-days.
Proof: Left Handed Deck of Playing Cards
People think I’m joking when I tell them that playing-cards are tailored for the right-handed person. As a lefty and after years of suffering, the US Playing Card Company has come out with a version for the lefty. BUT, this means I can only play cards with left handers, or make the right-handed opponent suffer, as I have. Of course, ideally, one would need a card with the indicies on all 4 corners for both handed people to play in peace and harmony.
Study this image closely. Notice how a left handed fan doesn’t show me what cards I hold underneath.

Yes, another Halloween post. There was a ton of great material that was recorded. I have one more video to produce that I’ll put out tomorrow. Thanks to my parents Al & Sonja Freeland along with their friend Merry Hoekstra for throwing this great Halloween party for the kids. They went all out!
